In the spirit of service, not self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary
is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve
by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families,
both home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for
veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote
patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

As President of the American Legion Auxiliary Kirby Stewart Unit 24, I want to welcome you to our website. As you are browsing through our pages, if you have any questions please drop us an email from the contact page above or call us directly at (941) 794-3489 extension 2036.
Our meetings are every 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00pm and we welcome all members input and ideas. If you are not yet a member of our Auxiliary and would like to get more information about joining, you can visit us in the office on Monday’s and Wednesdays from 10:00-3:00. You can also email or call if that’s more convenient.
We are a very active Unit. It takes a village to get the work done within our Auxiliary, to support our Veterans, their families and our community so your capable ideas, hands and feet are certainly needed. We have several fundraisers throughout the year and Auxiliary events are open to the public, so watch the website for events coming up.
