The Turkey Feather Pull was a huge success again this year, raising $1,420.  The winner of the drawing was Mary Richart who received $400. A donation of $900 was presented to Sean Allison from the Tidewell Foundationi to fund their Veterans Program. The remaining $120 was placed in our Auxiliary Emergency Fund.

We had a costume contest at Bingo on October and what a fun time. 1st place was the headless horseman, 2nd place was the Queen of Hearts and 3rd place was Little Red Riding Hood and her friends. There were several others fun costumes as well.

Auxiliary Unit 24, President Loy McColm, presented a $1,000 check to Freedom Gathering Director Tonia Johnson. This is one of Unit 24’s Community Services projects and we are blessed to be able to assist them in their work with those in need in our Community.  Contact Loy at president@alaunit24,org for more information on how to help this amazing villageof angels.

What a great organization. This non-profit makes beds for children who do not have a bed. Volunteer day is the first Saturday of every month. Your help, either financial or help with the building of beds is greatly appreciated.
